There are many kinds of cable tray, such as trapezoidal cable tray, metal trunking, FRP cable tray and so on. The differences between cable tray and metal trunking are as follows:

1.電纜橋架一般寬度>200mm，金屬線槽寬度<200mm。

1. The general width of cable tray is more than 200 mm, and the width of metal trunking is less than 200 mm.

2.電纜橋架主要用于敷設電纜，金屬線槽主要用于敷設導線。

3.電纜橋架型式有梯式、槽式、托盤式、組合式等多種，而在材質和防腐處理方面又分鋁合金、玻璃鋼、冷（熱）軋鋼板鍍鋅、噴涂等。金屬線槽就一種，一般用熱軋鋼板作成。
